1. The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren
The star of my June book haul is definitely The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren. I don’t usually buy physical books since I’m a Kindle Unlimited girl, but this special edition cover was too tempting to resist! Christina Lauren’s Beautiful Bastard series got me into spicy romance over 10 years ago, but I haven’t read much of her work since then. I’m excited to dive into The Paradise Problem—it seems like the perfect summer read!
Summary: In a fake relationship, Liam and Anna navigate the challenges of his upper-class family while Liam risks losing his one-hundred-million-dollar inheritance. He must choose between true love and wealth.
2. Wildfire by Hannah Grace
I’ve had Wildfire by Hannah Grace, the second installment of The Maple Hills series, on my radar for a while now. I read Icebreaker back in 2022 when it was still on Kindle Unlimited and gave it 3 stars. While I enjoyed the book and its spicy moments, the plot felt somewhat scattered. Recently, with the buzz surrounding the third installment, Daydream, set to release in August of 2024, I decided to bite the bullet and buy Wildfire. Clearly, I’m a sucker for BookTok recommendations.
Summary: At the end of the school year, Russ and Aurora share a one-night stand, but Aurora leaves before he can learn more about her. When they reunite as summer camp counselors, they must navigate their undeniable chemistry while following strict camp policies against staff relationships.

3. Every Summer After by Carley Fortune
Carley Fortune’s debut novel, Every Summer After, has been highly praised by my friends, as well as on BookTok and Bookstagram. After hearing these spectacular reviews and waiting for the right moment to buy it, I am finally ready to dive into this renowned novel.
Summary: Persephone avoids returning home after making a life-altering mistake. When she has to return home for a funeral, she is faced with having to confront Sam, her ex, who she still has an undeniable connection with. They have to decide if their mistakes of their past will ruin their chance as love.
